Ashok Patel - Chief Executive Officer
Ashok Patel is an internationally experienced senior executive with 30 years of business experience and a proven track record of accomplishments in brand building and franchising. In 2004, he founded Apex Associates, a business consultancy with clients such as Cadbury Schweppes, Sunkist Growers and other multinationals. Mr. Patel worked at Sunkist Growers as Vice President of Global Licensing where he developed and managed the world’s largest licensing business with 600 licensed SKU’s in 45 countries and annual sales of $1.1 billion that earned over $20 million in annual royalties. He has helped clients expand businesses, improve margins and launch new products in new markets. Mr. Patel has traveled and lived internationally, is multi-lingual. He has a B.Sc (Hons) From Cal State, L.A. and a MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ. He is a life time member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honors Society. Jerry La Pointe - CFO
Mr. La Pointe brings over 20 years of financial and marketing experience to ProBrands, where he serves as Chief Financial Officer. Mr. La Pointe has worked with a broad array of companies, associations, and government agencies in consulting, senior management and board positions. For companies such as Mitratech, Dax Solutions, Disney, and Universal Studios Hollywood, and State of California, Jerry has developed business plans and performed organizational and financial performance diagnostics. For many clients, he has implemented and managed the change management process, most particularly within finance, human resources, and administration. Mr. La Pointe has designed and built from the bottom up financial operations, performed treasury-accounting functions, introduced transparency and strategic alignment concepts and controls, prepared organizations for high growth, and implemented fundamental structural and policy improvements.
